What the Christmas Portrait refund policy says
Each portrait set is digital content that we start making right after payment, so purchases are final. We do not offer refunds, including for unused sets in a three-photo pack or when you change your mind after the portraits arrive. The free preview exists so you can judge the likeness before paying, so try it with the exact photo you plan to use.
This Christmas Portrait refund policy covers the $4.99 one-photo set and the $9.99 three-photo pack bought through our Waffo Pancake checkout. It does not limit any statutory consumer rights you have where you live.
When we remake a portrait for free
Final sale does not mean you are stuck with a bad result. Email us within 14 days of receiving your gallery link if:
- a scene failed and its portrait is missing or broken;
- a portrait clearly does not look like the person in your photo, for example a different face shape, different hair, or glasses that were not there;
- the image has an obvious defect, such as distorted hands or a doubled face.
We will remake the affected portrait free, or give you a fresh set to try with a different photo. Tell us which scene is affected and what looks wrong; a sentence is enough.
If the whole set cannot be made
Sometimes the model cannot produce portraits from a photo at all, for example when faces are too small or partly hidden. This is the one case where the Christmas Portrait refund policy works automatically: if none of the six portraits in a set can be made, that set is returned to your portrait code automatically, so you can try again with a clearer photo without paying twice. The guide to the best photo for AI portrait results covers what works.
Each portrait usually takes 30 to 60 seconds. Please let a set finish, or wait for the gallery email, before starting another one with the same photo.
Paid but no portrait code?
If your bank asked you to approve the payment in its app, the payment page has to stay open until the approval goes through. If you paid but cannot find your code:
- Check the browser you paid in; the code is saved there.
- Search the inbox and spam folder of your checkout email for a message from Christmas Portrait.
- Use the code recovery form on the pricing page with the email address you paid with.
- If none of that works, email us with your checkout email and receipt reference.
Never send card numbers or bank details by email. We do not need them to find your order.
Questions about the Christmas Portrait refund policy
Write to hello@christmasportrait.app from the address you used at checkout, and include your receipt reference or gallery link. Gallery links are kept for 30 days and then deleted, so ask for a remake while the link still works, and download any portraits you want to keep. You can also read the terms and the privacy policy before ordering.
